Dallols Gr

Period:
Paleogene

Age Interval:
Late Paleocene (Danian) to Oligocene (1)

Province:
Iullemmeden Basin

Type Locality and Naming

Hanon (1984) and Dikouma (1990) include the upward succession of Garadaoua Fm, Ader-Doutchi Fm and Birni N'Konni Fm in the group (Fig. 1). Hanon (1990) includes only the Garadaoua and Ader-Doutchi formations. This lexicon opted to have the three formations as outlined by Dikouma (1990) and Hanon (1984) = upward succession of Garadaoua Fm, Ader Doutchi Fm and Birni N'Konni Fm in the group (see formation entries for details)

References: Hanon, 1984, 1990; Dikouma, 1990.
